Summary
Check out my résumé for a summary of my various
qualifications. I describe my qualifications in more detail below.
Science and Engineering Work
- Buckeye Science and Engineering Fair 2018
-
I designed and 3D printed a remote controlled quad-rotor vehicle. The purpose was to investigate the viability of prototyping drones with 3D printing and possibly manufacturing them with 3D printing for certain use cases. I progressed through a local science fair and finally presented my
work at the Buckeye Science and Engineering Fair. My main conclusion was
that my prototype was successful but 3D modeling analysis showed that the
strength to weight ratio could be further optimized.
- GoSun Solar Research
-
I worked as an engineering intern for the start-up company GoSun. I
performed pre-liminary research into hybrid solar and electricity cooking.
I also learned about aspects of electrical and mechanical engineering to
perform product testing.
- Hemp Fiber Delignification Formulation
-
Hemp fiber must be cleaned in order to manufacture non-wovens. Using my
knowledge of chemistry, I created a spreadsheet for calculating the
variable admixture amounts of a hemp fiber delignification liquor
formulation.
